IF: Pioneer

I haven't been posting for a long long time. But now I feel an "urge" again.

IF: worn

I meant to show a worn out dress, ripped to shreds and all faded. But then just ended up drawing an every day situation at home. When I think what to wear. Everything seems to be so worn.

IF: drifting

I haven't participated in IF challenges since... I don't even know how long. Now I feel the "itch" again. Here is "drifting"...

IF: "subtract"

She's thinking: "after all my shopping I am running dangerously low on my budget. What should I omit...subtract?"

IF: "intricate"

I had no idea what "intricate" means, so I looked up the definitions on the internet. One of those was: "Tasting description of wine in which complex flavors and aromas are subtly interwoven."

So here is "intricate"




UPD: As Bella noticed, it is rather hard to see all the flavors that I put in the wine on this illo. Here is the wine glass enlarged, but I somehow still doubt that it is possible to distinguish them all, as in my attempt for subtlety I made them way too invisible.



The intricate tastes I included are: 3 types of wine, coffee, chocolate, citrus, nutmeg. Find them all!

IF: "breezy"

For some reason I associated "breezy" with Holly. I read recently an interesting article about Holly and where she came from and who and "what" she was. Holly gives me feeling of freshness... easiness.. breeziness...

IF: "instinct"

I knew that this word for me had to be associated with something sexual... I had a few ideas which I really wanted to execute here, but got caught up in another project and never did.

Here is one of the ideas: I wanted to just show a horny guy and a sexy girl. But the girl ended up looking like a street girl and all I had to do is to put some dark city on the background to complete the picture.

The guy is still horny :))

Flawed

I am most probably late for this week's submission. Being late is my flaw... My cartoon CooCoo is all the way perfect, but she really likes her food. So much, that it wouldn't even share it with herself!!

IF: "climbing"

CooCoo doesn't like to go outside in winter, but my cartoon cat loves to explore and to meet pretty much anybody. Only this time the kitty is not sure... "to climb or not to climb". LOL. Raccoons on the trees is a regular thing in Toronto.

Almost "containted"

I missed the IF challenge with the word "contained". But looking at the wonderful illustrations submitted by the members of the IF community, I got inspired.

this idea came from CooCoo herself. we have a tank with small fish and she would watch them but not very often. then we brought in a bigger fish and CooCoo immediately fell in love with here.. lol.. here is the documentary photo of CooCoo and the fish
